====== Control panel ====== ===== Overview ===== Nearly all of your site management will take place using the control panel. This is where you will work from. Here you can manage your members, review uploaded media and approve it if necessary, choose the layout and style of your site, install extensions for extra functionality, set permissions for users and groups and much more. ===== Login and admin essentials ===== First you obviously have to log in. Type in %%http://www.yoursite.com/cp/%% in your browser and you will see the login form. During the installation you chose a user name and password for the administrator, type them in here and click on "submit". After you logged in, you will see the general control panel interface. On the top side, you will find a main navigation area which represents different sections for managing your site. On the left side you will see additional option links. These apply to the current active control panel section and thus they will change if you were to select a different section.
