Give the admin the possibility to select wich member group could share or upload videos.

E.g
Regular members can only share videos (YouTube)

Paid members can share and upload videos to server.

payment gateways

Hello,

I`d like to see in next update some other payment gateway included, not only Authorize and Paypal. I tried to make account in Authorize, and I noticed that only USA and Canada were supported. Since I live in Bosnia and Herzegovina, I am unable to receive money to my PayPal account (I can only make payments, and not receive the money). Integrating 2checkout or some similar system would be great. I think that there is a lot of people that have the same problem like me.

Commenting options

Hi there,

I think that there should be "Facebook comments" plugin, so Administrator can choose between standard vldPersonals comments, or FB comments for blogs, news, profiles, pictures etc. This is the option which would bring us a lot of new members to our sites, members who see comments at their friend`s FB walls.

It is easy to do by ourselves (edit .php and insert FB comments code) but it is not easy to connect it with Control Panel (not easy to me ) so Admin can choose which type of commenting will be available.

I can`t wait to see new version, I think it will definitely leave the competition in several places below.

Validade Emails

It would be realy nice if the follow function will becoime true in next releases

the system should validade emails (maybe mx record) if he found not valid email send the user a private message or show overlay shadowbox on next login

{Sitename} try to send you emails it seems your email is not valid please go to your account (link to function) and update your email

this would be helpfull for people who change their email and forget update in the account or others who put in wrong email when system is set to no register validadion

the validadion can be done by cron by example check one time in the week all emails are valid

Widgets or Modules

Much years i work now allready with joomla and Wordpress and what i like most is the easy positioning from modules or widgets that suport html code and can be published on selected pages i think this was a very nice feature for VLD to.

The benefits for VLD, Developers can release Modules easy to install for customers without the nescesary of core hacks and this will make feature updates more easy dont need more implement everything from scratch when a new version comes out

A feature like this will make VLD much more attractive than it is allready

Email Blacklist for register

It would be great you can include a blacklist email in register form so we are able disallow email provider like hotmail

hotmail make allways problems (spam folder or blacklist)

the top was when some one try to add a disallowed email he get a ajax message this email provider is not allowed use the free gmail instead

so we can force members to use other free email provider with less problems

Basically means the system will automatically identify the country and the city of the users IP address and then prompt a sample of random pictures of the users closest to that specific city.....This features is already used by POF

Hello.
I already posted some suggestions and feature requests, but I want to repeat the ones I think are urgently needed. Notice that some of them could be added very easily and are just improvements of already existing features, so I pray vlad to consider to add them into the system as soon as possible in a new minor release, please.

a) Newsletter in html.
Absolutely important to make some money with email marketing and periodically send official announcements to members with attractive emails.

b) Newsletters by locality (at least by State/Region).
Another improvement needed by admins that use locality database and would like to send targeted emails to prevent annoying lot of members with emails which are interesting just for the members of a specific region.

c) Allowing admins using a locality database.
Usually admins prefer to use locality database to help members selecting right localities names by dropdown menus and avoid they don't appear in search results if they did some errors while digiting their locality. moreover, this will make possible to earn money with newsletter by locality. Email marketing it's really important.

d) Changing html editor.
Lot of vldp users said they would like to use TinyMce instead of current html editor and someone shared a modifications to do that. This demonstrates that moving to TinyMce could make happier lot of vldp users and surely could make easier to fix any issue that TinyMce could have and share solutions and best settings between users. Please, avoid users to have to apply modifications to use TinyMce and include it as default.

e) Characters counter in textfields with limits.
This could make forms really user friendly. Characters counter has already been added for private messages, so it could be easily added in other forms in some minutes, including comments textarea. About this I wonder why it has not been done yet. Please, add it in all forms where admin can set characters limit, so members will be informed about the limit while inserting any content.

f) Offline/Online status with just a click.
Allow members to hide their online status also into sites that are not using the vldpersonals inbuilt chat system.

g) Adding html editor for blogs.
This could allow members to publish attractive blog entries.

h) Mobile version.
Fortunately someone already sells a mobile version, anyway consider to add one into default templates for your new customers.

i) Search results ordered by last access date (no need to show the date).
I receive lot of emails by my members with this request. They would like to filter profile search also by last access date to see on the top of search results list the profiles of members which accessed the site recently.
