Can approve own pictures  - yes or no (I have it set to no)

I believe it is the same for 2.5.6.

I'm running a marketing campaign so I don't know if this number will be the same after the campaign will be over. One thing I noticed is that I have a lot of pending accounts, registration is made using email validation and probably sometimes the validation email goes to Spam directory. Do you think I need to avoid the account validation via email?
