Topic: Matchmaking / Dating Features

I would like to see more matchmaking features. I recently had a client turn down vldpersonals for a dating project because they felt it was too much like facebook and not enough like match.com/chemistry.com etc...

I would like to see some auto matchmaking features. Email options for sending out  daily/weekly matches to members. Email options for sending out daily/weekly profile visitors to members.  Location based Matching. Compatibility meters etc....

Anything related to making it easier for like minded members to find each other.

I agree 110% with Boom, Vld is designed for the dating industry but doesnt have an email match feature this is a massive floor as far as i can see,

IMO matching making rarely give genuine matches. Lots of site send out matches that are no way related to what you're looking for. If Vlad can come up with a system that really does work the way it is supposed to, then maybe worth a look, but otherwise its a waste of time, and big irritant to members.

On the frontpage of passion.com there's also a similar function. It shows a quick match selection by thumbs.
This would be nice.

Problem is: the match function on VLD does not work at all. I tried everthing and there's a topic around here also.
Don't know what's the problem and Vlad doesn't give much info why.
