Topic: Can't customize?...

Hello, I have a website called NYCMingles.com / RIMingles.com and I'm experiencing some difficulty with uploading my images.

For starters, I tried changing the banner to a different one and everytime I upload the file to replace the template it still recognizing the old one, even if I delete the old file.

On a side note, whenever I delete or add a new template, it doesnt show up in my CP. I also had a template removed from my server and it still shows in my CP. (And is still accessable!!) I'm not sure what the problem is...

The only time I was able to add a new template is after I updated the system to the latest version.

Any help would be great, thanks.

I assume you have changed the image reference in the CSS file - have you also tried clearing the cache? It shouldn't be, but having said that, it could be calling the cached version of the hearer.

Is this the old one of the new one? It can't be the old one, because it's using loading from a direct URI request.

When you FTP a new template, you have top load it in the CP, then enable it in the CP, before it can become selectable.

Whenever making serious changes, clear the cache, or hold down the <Shift> key as you reload the browser - this tells the browser to fetch all the files from the server, and not used the browser's temporary files.
