I noticed that many people are having problem with the matchmaker trying to match profiles, as too myself.

Well this is my solution -

Given that advanced search and saved searches basically display the ideal partner properties for a user, the original matchmaker function can now be scrapped.

Then rename advanced search page to "Partner Search (advanced)". Then near the bottom rename saved searches to "Save this form for My Matches".  Now rename the saved searches link to "My Matches" or similar. I myself am having the pages cloned so that the user can have, both advanced search, saved searches and my matches which is a copy of advanced search.
