Topic: Code to display the # of members?

I want to say on my site "There are _____ Members inside"
what is the code to do that?

I only want to show regular members, and paid members.
I dont want to display members who are pending, cancelled or banned.

if you need to show only regular and paid members
not all members ... you must make a extension for that ...
so it can filter out the information from the database.
