It would be realy nice if the follow function will becoime true in next releases

the system should validade emails (maybe mx record) if he found not valid email send the user a private message or show overlay shadowbox  on next login

{Sitename} try to send you emails it seems your email is not valid please go to your account (link to function) and update your email

this would be helpfull for people who change their email and forget update in the account or others who put in wrong email when system is set to no register validadion

the validadion can be done by cron by example check one time in the week all emails are valid

Usually when emails become not valid it's because member is not really interested in using the site and he is not visiting it since a long time.
I like to receive back emails I sent to not valid emails, because this way I can delete those abandoned accounts.
If you send a private message to those members probably they will never read it and you will keep lot of fake/abandoned accounts.

I already get returned emails - its not a function of vld but of the various email programs; I get returns from gmail, yahoo, hotmail, and others. It helps me keep track of and delete inactive members. They should come to your admin email account.

Usually when emails become not valid it's because member is not really interested in using the site and he is not visiting it since a long time.

and when one of 1000 is interesting and he just forget to update his account with new email this feature have allready sense for me

I already get returned emails - its not a function of vld but of the various email programs

Of course i get the returns to by my email but i need search the user manual in admin and send them from hand a PN so when they login net time they will see oh i forget to update my Email

why this can not be easy with one click found not valid emails and send them a PN like FACEBOOK make it too

but hey why it should be easy when we have user here who have nothing other to do than make it manual they need their working therapie

When I receive back emails I check how long the member doens't access the site anymore. If he accessed within the last month I send him a private message. If he doesn't access since a long time I just delete his account.
Moreover, some people that didn't visit the site since many months (and their email was expired, so I deleted their accounts) "register again if they are really interested in using the site". Obviously they provide a new working email address. So you will have a "cleaner" site and you will keep only working emails that you can use to contact your members.
