Topic: How Much Control Over Public VS Member Information Do We Have?

In other words, with vld personals, within a member's profile page there are quite a few pages, like pictures, videos, music, friends, events, gifts, blog, guestbook.

I'd like to only a number of those are open to the public and other's aren't.

I'd like pictures and blog to be public but of course events and friends should be private (only to members).

How possible is this? Do I need a script/hack/mod or is this in settings?

Members can specify privacy settings in their account to make their blogs/pictures/videos/etc visible to public or only friends.

Only members? Are we able as administrators to make these settings global for every user?

You can administer members accounts in the control panel and change their privacy settings, as well as specify them globally.

I have set the Blog access to regular users as "View Blog Posts Only".

However I am still getting the who can view my blogs option in the privacy which I dont want it to show since they can't post any blog posts. does not make sense.

How can I edit what members are shown in the privacy page please?
