Topic: Forum integration: single sign off

We've been testing out the forum integration feature, and so far it has been going better than expected.  However, there's a bit of confusion as far as signing on/off of the main site and the forum.  Although signing on to the main site will also sign you on to the forum, you can also sign on/off of the main site and the forum independently.  This creates a bit of a confusion because the user can be off of the forum and still logged on to the main site, and vice versa.  I think if VLD's authentication module also signs the user off of the forum, in addition to it signing the user off of the main site, it will make it less confusing.  If that's the case, we can just modify the forum and forward all sign on/off requests to VLD's authetication module (like we currently do with registrations).  Right now, the authentication module is already able to sign on users to both the main site and forum.  TIA.

Yeah, I have the same problem. Is there any way to fix this issue?

Re: Forum integration: single sign off

I have solved the issue with two sign on by customizing the phpbb2 files, so only members of vld can log in. I also removed buttons to "members list", "emails", and added a link to vld-search in phpbb2-members profile insted of options to make a profile....
In members profile, members can see other members emailadresses - and this is very very bad... Members can also see members that is deleted from vld, because members in phpbb2 will not be deleted when they are deleted from vld...

I aggree that we need these issues fixed...
