Topic: templates for user groups

id like to see templates with access permissions for user groups. this would give some advantages:

- additional templates for paid members
- customized templates for moderators/admins
- being able to test new features on templates where only the site admin has access to without messing around on active templates

Hey Breeze, some of this you can do now. By settings, you can costumize a template without your members can see it, but if you have more than one for your members, you can not do it this way.

I like your requests, because of the isue above - and would also like to give permissions to different groups, something like this:
Paid and trial: Template 1 + 2 + 3
Regular: Template 2
Guests: Template 2
Moderators: Template x + y +
Admin: All

i currently have 2 different templates for all users. i could remove one and change the settings that all members can only use 1 template while admins can use more. then i'd be able to test new features

but i want my users to be able to switch between templates. i'd set permissions very similar to yours

I have two different templates too, but I can't change settings for my members as it is now, they need to be able to switch between the templates and therefore I can't see my new template working on my website.. sad
