Do a google search - there are .js compressors out there, then give it a try yorself and let us all know

yes I think it can be done ... I´m sorry have no time to do it ...
you need really good knowledge in js/jquery/java/javascripts/html to make it work ...

"Remember to place CSS files in the HEAD and JavaScript files at the end of the BODY to enable progressive display. "

Is it a good idea to move all js to the footer.tpl?
