15 minutes of fame

User can add his/her picture on first page special block/box certain amount of time, example 5/10/15 mins. and this feature can be buyed with credits.

Admin can create different times and prices for this feature in control panel.

User gets more profile views and contacts, cause hundreds or even thousands see his/her profile in the first page.

Site owners gets more income.

Many site uses this feature with success.

I'd like this feature.  But I'd like this feature to have an admin section where this feature can be turned on or off - for the non programmers.

This could be done by making "Featured" the fame part, depending on your current setup.

Personally, I give females free Featured, males not.
If males want to be featured, ah hah, then the cost comes into it.

Isn't the females more interested in getting as many visitors as possible? They use so much time to get visitors on theire profiles.
I have seen this on other dating sites. it's like a competition among the females.
And are more willing to pay than men?

I may be wrong.

Sites I have seen, and those advertised on television for telephone 'chat' are invariably free for females, pay for males.
Men are driven by their dicks and will pay, which is why brothels exist.
Any woman on the site will soon have her choice of suitors.
