Hi guys,
how did it start for you? I mean how did you get the very first few members? I can not imagine that people will register at an emty community... Did you use dummy-members or what?

Start out by inviting alot of friends. Why not start a facebookgroup, invite all friends and their friends, and the maybe do some moderate advertising.

I took the starting profiles that came with osDate, then heavily advertised everywhere I could, as well as let all my friends know, so they could sign up to try it out, and also increase the membership count.
Remember to visit relevant forums, and leave a link to your site in your signature.
As the real ones came in, the fake ones went out.

I start my dating site for about 1 week and i have 400 registered members already and only 50 real human users. How did i do that? First of all i registered by myself 80 fake members each day and i`m going to do this for the next two months too. It is a pain in the ass to add members manualy from register.php page each username. I am still looking for a easy way and i hope to find it soon
