I see. It sounds like you would have to evaluate the site first then let them know your recommended changes. I might be wrong, but I think you are focusing on making changes to the htaccess so keywords are part of the sites URL and searches.

SEO is unlimited.
I just add some useful techniques as soft unique meta tags, and ...
The custom pages content will be focused on main keywords.
This means some SQL commands and some .tpl modifications. Only this.
Htaccess ... it can be, but, not too much. Because if i change things htaccess, when the client will update VLD, he will loose many indexed links if he do not ask me to do the changements again. I simply do not want to go so far. I do it for my sites but it is a hard work.
You will agree with me that for a simple backlink, I will not work 10 hours on any dating site. There are SEO companies for those who really want get SEO improvements.

Sounds good, Rombest. I think I have most of the bases covered. I'm sure a lot of newbies out there may need your help but the problem is their site may not be a pr3. If it isn't a pr3, maybe you can charge a price.
I will tell anyone out there who is looking for SEO help that I have followed most of Rombest posts on this subject and I don't think anyone has put as much thought and effort into SEO as she has.

Page Rank is still a quality guarantiee. Many webmaster do not understand that SEO is welcome only when their sites have quality TEXT content.
SEO is not a magic formula who will send any poor content site to the TOP of SERP. The SEO results are conditionned by good & unique content.

You are very lucky. I am suggesting my dating site to Italian part of the directory and proposed myself as editor with no success in both situations.
You may say my site is not good to be suggested into the directory.
I am sure Italians DMOZ editors created a lobby and new dating sites don't are accepted anymore, because someone is using that section of the directory to promote and positioning their "fake" sites affiliated with other ones and make money with advertising.
Somebody tried to report this to DMOZ management, but without success.
I know what I am talking about.

Annunci-annunci.org (link goes to annunci-annunci.org, a fake site to catch visitors that are searching for "Annunci" (it means "listings", "ads"). You can immediately see and understand the site is full of keywords just for extreme SEO and if you enter "Annunci Personali" (personals, personal ads, dating) you can see a few fake listings into a page completely full of keywords and other commercial sites advertising)
Well, this happens also in parent categories.
To finish, some sites listed in that Italian section of DMOZ have just a few members (about 100/500) and are by payment. My site has 15.000 real members, a video chat, a video messenger and is totally for free, so I would like to ask to editors why they suggest to DMOZ users those sites and think my site it's a free resource that is not worth to be suggested to directory users... Where's the quality in lot of already listed sites?
I sent some detailed reports to editors, but I have been ignored.
