Do you own a paid dating site?
What is your conversion rate of free members to paid members?
I started to charge membership but it´s not working nobody pay.
last week i had 300 new members. i have aready more than 9.000 members and i have a good check out option.
Hope you can share your convertion rate.

I don`t know how you configured yourself the settings your vld website for Paid Members group. There are lots of reason for non-paying members IMHO : quality of your traffic, settings for the actual groups, niche saturation, the reputation of the website and lots more. I think you should test something else, different than you do right now to see how`s working

could have many reasons. I am still testing, so I am not that familliar. Could you post your URL - that would help to get an impression.
- can your free members do too much without paying?
- is your fee too expensive?
- cant you charge for messaging?
- what paym,ent gateway do you use? Switch it?

I was averaging around $2.00 per member per year. But I only had 150 members and did nearly $300. I'm sure that if I had a few 1000 members, each member will be worth around $5-$7 per year to me. If you set up your website properly and you are innovative with your approach, (I myself am in the process of integrating SMS message alerts for internal messages) Then you should be able to have 1 in 5 members paying. I am aiming for a yearly income of $70,000 once I reach 10,000 members
