Topic: Show us you´re SELFMADE templates

Hi,

i look around and 90% of all websites made with VLD has the same templates. I think thats boring and to easy.

I´ve made out of VLD template "redlove" my own design and (i think and hope) now you cannot see it is a standard VLD design.

show us your special made design. Give tips and tricks and lets show the rest of the world how easy it is to custumize a website having VLD.

I start:

Standardtemplate "redlove" custumized with new colours, new navigationtabs, startpage changed so it  fit to my needs, statistics in the footer.

Yes new look templates are great, but it means changing them every time there is an update. Thats why I use a standard template with just a few modifications.

Yes the "update" is the biggest problem with non standard designs.
VLD is the only software i know where it has to be so difficult. My wish for the future ... make the update really a update and not a full new installation.

Right now i have a backup of my design and everytime i "update" i have to build the template to my design. Not really easy but it keeps my site a kind of "unique" ,-)

yes, it's quite frustrating, i'm looking for some year now to get it all updated, it will be a huge task to get it all runing again
