How does mobile templates work for vldP?
Do you have to have two of the same site: one for mobile and one for regular PCs?
OR
When a member types in a URL in the browser (i.e. www.filipinaeyes.com), will it automatically detect that the member is using a mobile device and use the appropriate template or will a member have to click a link to use a mobile template?
I know google's blogger makes it real simple to use mobile templates.

Yes they do but it would be nice to have an standard mobile version in the software package. These days, its a 'must have'.

@db3204: You can have both. I send a description to Inatmo how to do.
I asked him to include it in the mobile version. So it will auto detect mobile browser.
Can´t found the tutorial how to do but I know I send it to Inatmo so please contact him !

I'm thinking of creating my own mobile template also later.
it's not difficult to redirect to such a template.
put a script to index.php?template=mobile (the name of you template)
Just create that template and your done. (if I had some spare time ;-)

I've found some mobi templates to start from.

With no Mobile version and iphone app you are losing 40% of traffic , so VLD will sell easy if have these feature

Not such a big deal any more. For phones it's mostly apps and for tablets they can accept full pages so long as they are thin enough. I design all my sites so they are 960gs optimized. Yes, it's a little thin but virtually anything you need fits and you can add optional items on the outside if the device supports them. I do have a mobile skin for my site but it's used sparingly, only for mobile phones and not "devices" that are below 7"

For me it looks more like aplication.
