hey, is there any way to enable the use of embedding youtube / xtube etc in the blogs page?

I had a paid mod done for this. Rami (radioact)l did it.  I can give permissions to whatever groups I want to allow to embed a video in their blogs.

You can see an example of a video embedded in a blog on my site at:

The member embedded the video at the bottom of the blog.

you can use a wysiwyg editor, as tinymce to do this, but you have to sanitise the code then...
