I'm new to the vldPersonals CMS and this is my first post in these forums. So, first, I'd like to say "hello", but more importantly, I want to briefly write about a recent experience with Vlad's amazing support.

After installing the system on my server and exploring features, I found an unusual problem, which turned out to have nothing to do with vldPersonals.

When creating a new user account, a validation email is sent with a verification link. However, when clicking that link, I would be taken back to the website and an error would appear that would say "Invalid Member ID or Hash".

Vlad patiently correctly diagnosed that the problem was most likely caused by a browser addon. As it turned out, the situation was caused by a Firefox addon that retrieves info on the destination of website links when the mouse hovers the link.

When I would try to click the emailed validation link, for a brief moment, the addon would follow the link to retrieve information, and that was activating the account. Then, by the time I actually clicked the link, the account had already been activated. Effectively, I was trying to activate twice because of that browser addon.

What an absurd and random problem, but I was quite impressed that Vlad came up with that answer.
